Greek suffixes

Suffixes are added at the end of the root word (base word) which as a result forms a verb, noun, adjective or adverb. 

Here’s a list of suffixes that are derived from the Greek language.

ee (derived from French) - a person with a passive share in an action.

sy suffix – is mostly used as a diminutive of the base word for informal use. It is used to form nouns or adjectives.
