What is a prefix?
Pre means “before”. Prefix means a word / number placed before another word. It changes the meaning of the word. It goes before the base and cannot stand on its own.
Suffixes
What is a suffix?
A suffix is a word placed after another(root) word. It goes at the end of the word. It goes after the base and cannot stand on its own.
Like prefix, adding suffixes changes the meaning of the word.
